Wordcade holds three separate word games. Each has a daily puzzle, plus a library of levels in easy, medium and hard. Nothing to download, no account to make. Open the site and play.
Ten words on screen. Nine of them break into three hidden groups of three. The tenth fits nowhere, and that is the intruder.
Pick three words that belong together and submit. Clear all three groups and the word left over is your answer.
The groups are rarely what they look like. One puzzle buries a colour inside every word. Another rounds up words that all mean zero. A third hides an animal in each one. Guessing wrong costs you nothing beyond a mistake on the count.
When the puzzle ends, each group gets a line explaining the link, so you can see how it worked.
You get a handful of letters. Build words of 3 letters or more and submit them for points. Length decides everything: 3 letters scores 1 point, 6 letters scores 7, and 7 letters scores 12.
Reach the target and you win. Every puzzle also hides one perfect word that uses all the letters at once. It is worth 15 bonus points. Miss it and the target gets a lot harder to reach.
At the end the game shows you the perfect word, and the biggest words you walked straight past.
One hidden word and up to 4 clues. Clue 1 is a riddle. Crack it there and the answer is worth 4 points. Each wrong guess opens the next clue and knocks the value down, to 1 point by clue 4.
The last clue always gives you the first letter and the length, so nothing is truly unsolvable.
Synonyms count. If the answer is BICYCLE, then BIKE will do.
Once the round is over, every clue is explained.
Each game keeps its own streak, meaning days in a row that you have won its daily puzzle. Lose or skip a day without protection and it goes back to zero.
A daily win pays 10 tokens. Clearing any level for the first time pays 5. Win all 3 dailies on your first try in the same day and you land a Perfect Day: 25 bonus tokens plus a Streak Shield.
Only your first attempt at a day's puzzle counts for any of this. Anything after that is marked as practice and pays nothing.
A Shield saves a streak once, either from a lost daily or from a missed day, and is spent for you automatically the moment it is needed. You can hold 3 at a time.
They come from 4 places: a Perfect Day, reaching 7 wins in a row in any single game, day 7 of the stamp card, and the Shop, where one costs 40 tokens.
Your first visit each day stamps a 7 day card and pays out on the spot: 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, then 20 tokens, and a Streak Shield on day 7, or 25 tokens if your Shields are already full. Then the card starts over.
Missing a day never resets the card. You simply carry on from your next stamp whenever you return.
Stuck on a puzzle? A hint costs 25 tokens, once per puzzle. Intruder reveals one group's theme, Forge names the best word you have not found yet, and Hunch shows you a dictionary definition of the answer. Shares mark when a hint was used, so bragging stays honest.
Tokens buy hints, Streak Shields, and tile themes, which repaint the entire game. All of it lives in the Shop on the home screen.
The archive holds every daily puzzle since launch, and you can play any of them whenever you want. They will not repair a broken streak, because only today's puzzle can do that, but a first clear still pays tokens.
There are no accounts, so progress lives in your browser instead of on a server. Clearing your browsing data wipes it.
At the bottom of the home screen there is a backup button that hands you a rescue code. Copy it somewhere safe. Paste it back in later, on any device, and everything returns: streaks, tokens, themes, the lot.
Play WordcadeEach game has a full strategy guide: Intruder covers trap words and the near-miss message, Forge covers perfect-word hunting and plural tricks, and Hunch covers when an early guess is worth the gamble. The FAQ explains tokens, shields, themes, and backups.
