About Wordcade

3 word games. New puzzles every day.

What this is

Wordcade is three daily word games — Intruder, Forge, and Hunch — built as one small, fast website. Every player in the world gets the same three daily puzzles, there are no accounts to create, and a full day of play takes about ten minutes. Beyond the dailies there are hundreds of practice levels across easy, medium, and hard tiers, plus an archive of past dailies.

Who makes it

Wordcade is made by one independent developer. Every puzzle is written and reviewed by hand: Intruder boards are designed around a specific trap word, Hunch clues are drafted from riddle down to plain description, and Forge boards are checked so their perfect word is genuinely findable. The report link under every puzzle sends problems directly to the developer, and player reports have already improved clue wording and expanded the accepted dictionary — including regional words like lift and brolly, because players come from everywhere.

What it believes

A few rules shape every decision. No accounts and no personal data collection: progress lives in your browser, with a backup file if you want one. No timers, no energy, no streak-shaming notifications: the game waits for you. Nothing that touches gameplay is for sale: tokens, hints, shields, and all twelve themes are earned by playing. The only purchase is a one-time $2.99 Remove Ads, and it buys silence, not power. The dictionary aims to be generous with real words, modern words, and regional English, and conservative about crude ones, because players of every age share this site.

How it stays free

The site is paid for by ads, kept as light as possible, with the Remove Ads option for anyone who prefers to support it directly. That is the whole business model. If Wordcade earns enough to justify it, the plan is more puzzle packs and more polish, in that order.
